tarantula printer

Hello,
I have a tarantula RS printer and I have a problem.
It does not connect to a PC. A special driver is probably needed.
The computer does not recognize the SD card and suggests formatting.
The processor is LPC1768 and Marlin program 2.05.
Try with Cura and with Repetier Host but not connect.
What could be wrong.

Thanks for the reply.
I still have a problem.
I did everything as in the movie.
But I have a warning on the control panel next to the printer icon.
The driver does not appear to recognize the printer.
how to remove old drivers.
Bye
Matjaz

Yeah sorry, I don't do windows but I do recognize the driver CH340 .. it is the Chinese clone USB to UART chip. it is the knockoff of a UK chip. Still very common, there are a number of drivers for it out there. I have an open source driver on my macos system for it. I'd expect you can find an alternate one there.

search github, there are a tone of choices there. I'd expect almost any one to work.

"Driver ch340 and 341 are for arduino atmega and mega processor" no its for any processor with serial ports that care to use it.

but your correct that your controller does not have a ch34x. In your case the usb is directly connected to the processor.

What windows is that? looks old.
Older versions of windows needs a driver

Windows 2000/Vista/7/8 64bit/32bit: smoothieware-windows-signeddriver-v1.1.zip
Windows 8.1: smoothieware-windows-signeddriver-v1.0.zip
iWindows 10, Does not need drivers
