"No SD Card"
July 19, 2021 03:44PM
Been getting this more lately, and now the card (and new test cards) are not recognized even after repeated in/out attempts, contact cleanings, wiggles, etc. It does show "Card Inserted", but when trying to print it then shows "No SD Card".

In general is there something else to look at, beside suspecting the pcb ?

I have a similar problem, on occasion

If I insert the card while powered up it states "Card Inserted" though I can not read the SD
If I insert the card then power up I can read the SD with no problems.

I have never found the problem and always insert the card before powering my 3D Printer.
This is on Marlin 2.0.6 using a Arduino Mega 2560, ramps compatible controller.

If the issues getting worse, it is likely the sd card slot is no longer soldered onto the PCB

I have noticed, that after it warmed up, it would have less problems. So maybe the solder joints have become loose.
