How to cut model into parts to fit bed?
April 08, 2022 03:15PM
I am looking for the best way to cut a model up into serval parts to be able to fit on my print bed. the part i need to cut up is a back panel for a ratrig machine. I have been doing some googling to try and find the most strait forward way to do it but everything i have found is to split multiple septate model parts and not a single large part. could anyone please point me in the right direction

thanks Nikki

Load it in your favorite 3D modeling program (I use Blender) and make some cubes and use boolean intersect.
