Retraction in short distances

Retraction in short distances
August 28, 2025 10:38AM
I was printing a very small letter of about 10mm high, and I noticed there were printed parts where not desired.
It seems that the nozzle jumps from certain parts over regions that should not have any print, and, because of the very short distances, the retraction enabled is insuficient.
I think that this could be solved if the nozzle is forced to run just over printed parts, before changing from layer, but I don´t know how to force this.
Is this possible?
I also think that another posibility is to regulate better the retraction in this case, but I don´t have any idea.
Retraction was very well configurated till today, and I have a direct extrusion.
Thanks for any help.

... do you have a "direct drive" extruder or "bowden"?

With bowden the "elasticity" will cause problems with short retracts ... but can be an issue with direct drive too, if not so much ...

I thought it was retraction.
But it is not!
Lack of retraction seems like spider web, and is easily removed.
These are solid walls!
I can´t imagine what it is.
And when I visualize the simulation of printing, it does not appear!
I am about to give up!

No, sorry, that was really lck of retraction.
I was printing very small letters, and the lines were also very close one to the other.
I decreased temperature and increased the travel speed.
So, they vanished!
