Slic3r calibration

Hi,

I'm using Slice3r (git version 0.83-dev) on my new repstrap machine. I have a problem with calibration with my Jhead MKIV nozzle (.35).

When i print at low speed (30mm/s), my test are good but when i increased speed (60 or 80 mm/s) i have blob when nozzle slow down in one corner.

Retraction doesn't seem to change anything for this problem.

See this on the photo

there is something else

with 0.7.2 version i could print abs without to much blob, with 0.8.3 and exactly the same setting i got blob so important the part is ruined

i had to swhitch back to 7.2

the exemple is at the start of the printing i got blob with 8.3 no blob with 7.2 just after finishing the skirt same speed same retract same temp same abs same stl

there is something fishy in the new version

There is a bug that meant if Z lift was set to any value other than "0" it would not retract but would still un-retract which leaves blobs. Even "0.0" causes the problem. I have switched back to 0.7.2 for now as well. The problems are being dealt with so expect them to be fixed in the next release.

so there is the geometrical issue as well to deal with

the next release may be

because I like the simplicity of slicer and I don't really like SF
