first layer ratio ? which effect ?

There is an interrogation about the real effect of the ratio:

ok you want an 50% height ratio so your first layer will be 0.2 instead of 0.4

but is the plastic flow reduced accordingly or is it still the same ?

if it is the same it means the layer will be over stuffed with plastic, better surface aspect but some blob on the first layer

if any body could give the definite answer because it's not clearly specified somewhere I could find

thank you

(i think it is the same but i'm not sure)

From what have experienced using this extensively, flow rate is adjusted so the bottom layer is not overstuffed. Very useful.

I also use this feature all the time, especially when using very small layers (0.1mm): the first layer is set to 0.4mm. The latest release allows to enter an absolute value, instead of a ratio, which is very nice, and avoid me to change the value when changing the layer height.
