Solidworks STL file compatibility issue(s)?

Help please from any Solidworks (SW) users. 2010 Solidworks/7.2 Slic3r:::
STL's from Solidworks aren't being recognized in Slic3r...??? I've sent out
many dozens of STL's to various print shops without ever having an issue... But
Slic3r returns numerous issues??? (Please see attachments)
I can open/see the SW STL file in SW, Catia, Sketchup, etc... I doubt the problem
is in the Solidworks STL... but where IS the problem...? Are there different types of
STL files...???...causing the issues? THANK YOU for help...

Want to attach an example STL file so someonelese can try and see if their SLIC3R recognises it?

I have never heard of a single program that makes perfect STL's. All the services you have sent the files to have repaired them and you will have to do the same. Try cloud.netfabb.com or Meshlab etc to repair them before trying to slice the file with any RepRap slicer.

Apparently SW has an option during export to determine how many faces it generates and if this is set too high it will make really bad STL's. If you set it lower you will get a mostly OK STL that may only need a small amount of repair. I suggest trying cloud.netfab.com to fix it.

Update;

I loaded Netfabb and ran against the Solidworks stl... I couldn't see any errors,
and non were reported, but,,, lo and behold, Slic3r
was able to make the Gcode file...!... quite an improvement... the weird
part is that the orientation/planes all changed?

How do I orientate the part to the correct x,y,z//top,front,right planes that
the part was designed in?

Thank You again, for ALL the replies... mark

You need to orient the part to match the machines orientation. Z is always the same as the tool so for 3D printing Z is up and down. X is right to left and Y is front to back. To do this you will either need to rotate the part before export or import it into something like Meshlab to rotate it before slicing.
