G-Code tracing back without extruding

Guys.
I see in the G-Code that there are places in the model that the G-Code
instruct the motors to move above the extruded filament in reverse, without extruding.
What is the point in doing so?
Isn't it more reasonable to continue to the next place that we need to extrude filament in?

thank you.

Sounds like the wipe feature of Kisslicer but as far as I know Slic3r does not do this. In Kisslicer it is there to wipe off any extra extrusion to prevent blobs on the outside of your model.

david, Slic3r does a little move inwards after completing a loop. This is to close the loop nicely without visible bumps before moving, like using the slight ooze as "cement".
