Slic3r Vs Cura print duration estimate [SOLVED]

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can tell me why slic3r creates prints that take hours longer than prints created with Cura, the settings are similar for speed in both programs.

Both estimated times are from opening the gcode in pronterface:
Slic3r: 9hr10min
Cura: 4hr27min

layer height in both programs is 0.1mm.

I am slicing [www.thingiverse.com]

Should also mention that I am scaling it to 66% of its original size, could have something to do with it.

I am using rectilinear.

Can you do a layer by layer comparison? I've seen differences between Slic3r and skeinforge, but not this great. Upon investigation I think a large bit of the difference was when bridging is necessary - Slic3r only bridges the gap that needs bridging while skeinforge bridges the entire layer which takes quite a bit longer. You might see similar differences once you peer into the layers themselves.

That would produce faster Slic3r prints, but it is quite the opposite, I will investigate a layer comparison between the 2 programs, in the mean time here are the 2 gcodes.

I think I solved it.
It was the slow down if layer time is below "x" time, I had it set to 30 sec and now it is 10 sec, new slic3r print duration print estimate 4hr31min.
