Advanced Settings - Perimeter width

Hello,

i have a problem with parts that have holes for nuts or other inner features.
When i print the calibration thing (part with some holes) [www.thingiverse.com] and measure the diameter of the holes they are all a bit to small. The smaller the hole nominal diameter the bigger is the error.
The extruder steps / filament diameter... are all set correctly everything else is fine.
When i now adjust the perimeter width in the advanced settings to 110% the holes get even smaller, when i set it to 90% they get smaller as well. If you look at the g-code in a viewer it can be seen that the inner perimeter of the hole moves torwards the center in both cases with 110% and 90%.
Anyone else having thins problem?

I have that problem too. I've been looking for what settings to tweak.

See this: Polyholes and Polyholes in Alibre Design.

I used to have the same issue but I found this site :

Calibrate Info

Now that the wall thickness is correct printed holes are also correct.

A few things I've learned since using this technique is in the "Cooling" settings in Slic3r turn the "Slow down print if layer time is under:" to zero as it can mess with the calibration.
Also I've found putting the infill in the advanced settings to 125% for all three infills to give a better surface finish.

Run the calibration for every new spool of filament as it changes per spool.
