hi, anyone able to advise on the issue I having, i trying to print a t-800 and I use the slic3r from repetier but once I print out the model is abit different. Thank. the fore head is different from the original model.

That is support material... remove and enjoy.

No he means you need to remove the support material after printing. Think of it like scaffolding used when building a building to support the workers, then when they finish the building they tear down the scaffolding.

At first I also thought it a support material but it was not. The slic3r slice it into a solid piece.

I just downloaded that model. It has some small errors but nothing that should cause troubles slicing. It looks like it will print without support without too many issues.

My guess is that you accidently have support turned on in slic3r.

Hi, I have print it will support, but I don't why the support become part of the model.smiling smiley

First off the instructions on that model say it prints fine without support (so don't use any). Second, you do understand that support is suppose to stick to the model right? You need to cut or break it off. Some slicers do a better job of making the support easier to remove than others but you still have to remove it by force.

"the support become part of the model" Yea, a part that you remove by breaking or cutting it off.
