Hi,

i have an hacked DaVinci printer where i loved slic3r to slice my models.

Now im building a big extruder where i need a layer height of 4mm but cant get that value to work in setting.

Do you have any suggestions?

How big is the nozzle? I think slic3r limits layer height based on nozzle diameter. You can't print in 4 mm layers with a 3 mm diameter nozzle, for example.

In the printer setup menu you can set min- and max- layerheight and nozzle diameter as well. Did you try that?
