do slic3r have this option?

I have the mk42 bed and would like to have that as a background, if the PEI gets a dent or rips off its more easy to place the models in a good spot if i can relate to the squares on the bed

There is a grid in slicer you can use for orientation.
But there is also a 'move' section in the plater: Select the part you want to move and open the 'settings' dialog.
Now you can use XYZ sliders to move the part in a more defined way than just ' drag and drop' with the mouse.

Slic3r has a way to use an STL file as the plater. It will get you the outline of the bed, but it won't give you the markings on the bed. An STL file doesn't contain that information. I had previously set up slicer with a model of the print bed including cutouts for the leveling screws and it worked fine.
