Yes, thats correct. It was an error it did clean y in previous versions.
What you see are the real coordinates, not the one send to printer. If you try to simulate home with G92, do the following:
Go to home position
G92 X0 Y0 Z0
@isathome
The last command is to tell the host you are at home position.
