Dual extrusion offsets in Repetier Firmware

Hi all,

I have finally got my printer with a dual extrusion. Currently I have the offset (+18mm in X axis) between the two extruder nozzles set in Slic3r. It works great but previews also have the extrusion offset in the preview.

In firmware there is the ability to have the offset in Repetier (0.92.3) which wants it as steps - has anyone used this? Do I simple take my 18mm offset and multiply it by the steps/mm of the x axis?

Yes, just multyply distance with steps per mm in x direction. Then set offset in slic3r and host to 0 and firmware takes care of everything.
