Repetier-Host Mac 0.31 released

For all mac user, the wait is over. With the new release 0.30 of the mac host, a new slicer management and update to the current slic3r 0.9.1 is included. Other new features:

- New icon set
- New Slicer management
- Installer comes bundled with Skeinforge 50, pypy and Slic3r 0.9.1
- Printing time estimate in the editor
- Better ETA during print.
- Some bug fixes.

More new features from the windows host will follow.

Version 0.31

Finding a bug in Skeinforge handling needed a quick fix. As a benefit you get also some new cool functions like highlighting in the preview the code selected in the editor.

- Highlight selected gcode in gcode preview.
- Give each extruder a different color. Works for extruder 0-2.
- Restore position where you started pause, allowing extruder moves during pause.
- Pause script that is run when pause is clicked.
- 5 user defined scripts per printer configuration.
- Fixed bug on Skeinforge handling.

I tried to install Repetier-Host Mac 0.31 on my Mac mini, OS X 10.8.1.
but the installer didn't install the app.
I got the message "The installation was succeful" but there is no app in the folder Applications.

Any ideas?

From 10.8 on you need to explicitly allow installation of unsigned code. Have you done this?

Yes I did. I can start Repetier-Host Mac_0_31.pkg opening it with the menu and the installer works too.
But there is no app in the folder Applications.

I've found a workaround:

1. Download this utility -> [www.macupdate.com]
2. Unpack using unpkg.
3. Copy Repetier-Host Mac.app to the folder /Apllications.

The next release will be as zipped app, so that should also help. After unzipping you can always move the app to Applications. I hope new autoupdater which will come in the next version will work with Mountain Lion.

A Zip-file will be ok or a Disk Image File e.g. "Repetier-Host Mac_0_31.dmg"
