Repetier Host crashes before opening

I certainly appreciate your wonderful software.

I started having problems tonight with my Slic3r configuration file. I was unable to update my configurations. I began reading posts and read somewhere that maybe my configuration file needed quotes in it. I did that and have not been able to open the program sense.
I did that in the general configuration in Repetier Host.
I have tried reinstalling the program.
I then tried deleting the directory and reinstalling the program.
It is still crashing before opening.

I am sure that there is just some configuration file that needs deleting or changing but I can not
find it.
I would so much appreciate your help.

If you are using the windows version you have to look into the registry (regedit.exe). There is trii under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Repetier below that all settings are stored. You can modify or remove any value you want. If you like you can even remove the complete repetier branch, but that shouldn't be necessary. Simply find your wrong setting and delete it. After that the host will restart again.
