No thoughts at the moment. A copy of the repetier.log would perhaps help. Maybe something you think is ususal isn't for me. The strange thing is that I get only reports from printrboard users with problems. All other boards seem to work fine.

Could you please post the repetier.log written in the work directory. I'm still searching the reason why only printrboard has this problem, espeially now where some users have success with the new update.

Problem with 0.90 and 0.90B, can't control my ramps 1.4 with repetier firmware 0.83

Checked com, speed and protocol, and everything looks good. (using 57600 kbyte ). It connects to the printer but no feedback from it at the startup and no control.

Working perfectly with 0.85 and even with the 0.90 if i save the work and print from the SD.

By the way, love repetier software, best printing tool by far! Great work!

@jhoexp I have the same combination and it works. Go to printer settings and select DTR high->low->high for reset on connect. Thats how I have working the same combination.

Any info on fixing the latest version for Printrboards? Or will it be in a new version soon?

The latest 0.90B already works in some cases. It has only problems when it gets an resend error in the first 30 lines. If you have this problem, press the reset switch on your board and connections starts normal. The problem is the state connections was left and the fact that printrboard does not support reset over dtr signal. So it starts with a an unknown state which can cause a resend for an unsend line. The problem is to detect which resends at the start are valid and which should be ignored. After a reset nothing must be ignored making things more easy.

For me the .90B works great, but I think that the G-code viewer went a step backwards with the latest updates. It does not look as good, and the view is often confusing. It is often hard to see the model and it's details. Are there settings to go back to the old look?

I'm making progress. Reset works now much faster (8x) and now I'm experimenting on how to get in sync the best.

@jkljo I haven't changed the g-code viewer. The only thing that has changed is the coloring, which you can change in the 3d visualization settings. If you prefer the black background set top and bottom to black and frame color to white.

I also am highly annoyed with the printer settings being disabled when connected. I use different hot bed covers depending on what material I am printing on my rostock. I NEED to be able to adjust z height easily and check bed leveling. rather than a quick couple clicks to set everything up I now have to check height, change eeprom, disconnect, change printer height, reconect zero recheck disonnect repeat etc this should be a user option not a permenantly disabled feature (optionally linking printer size to eeprom printer size would also work)

It wasn't broken You shouldn't have fixed it!!!!!!!

Hello, i recently switch to repetier firmware + host for my huxley, it's great software !
Altought i got a "minor" bug in the filament 3d view.
it show only a quarter of what is really printed and show some strange line from an unknow origin.
example :

I was printing the shovel of excavator
I use the latest buil on a windows seven x86

I also have a minor bug with slicing with skeinforge47 and peepee : the multiply script doesn't work but i think it's because of peepee and i can bypass this by multipling in repetier, so no need to correct.

Ignore that line. It is the first line from an unknown position outside.

Looks like you mean in the print preview it is only a quarter. From the filament type (simple) I guess it was already reduced cause of slow frame rates (FPS xxx right to progress bar). There should also be a message about this in the log. That is only a protection to continue your print, if the update rate gets too slow. If update rate goes low your communication get hangs which you do not want. So better not to show everything and have a good print. Make sure you have selected autodetect in drawing method in 3d visualization.

indeed the frame rate is low (typically ~10fps) and i've got the emssage about reducing quality.
I use and old laptop with a Turion 64 @2.1ghz and an integrated X200 graphic, i will try with another more up-2-date computer.

Thank for the explanation, my guess was that the reducing quality was only about quality and not quantity.

If graphic preview is not essential during print, you can disable filament visualization before you even start to reduce computation time. I mean it only shows you what the printer next to you shows, so no big loss.

it's ok on my other computer everythings is fine.

I have another problem about skeinforge inside repetier : i cannot get the statistic module to work.
it does not execute at all (no file writen in the work folder, nor feedback in console neither).
if i run skeinforge.py in command line the statistic module work ok.

Do you have any clue ?

Hello it's not a problem with repetier host it's something with the firmware of your printer, i suggest you to post on the corresponding topic (ie about your printer or about the firmware you're using)
