repetier+eprom values

hey, just one simple question.

i am currently printing with rep. host(eprom 0), but i am switching to smart lcd, so when i change to eprom mode 1 is any way to import settings from firmware automaticaly to eeprom? there is a lot of settings, so maybe il save some time...

If it is the first time you enabled eeprom, it will copy all settings to eeprom. It will also do this if you change EEPROM_MODE to a new value. And after that you can always overwrite eeprom settings with the one from configuration.h with

M502

So no reason to enter them manually.

hello, new question!

when i enable eprom mode, for example 1, then hit m502 still there are different values.

also, in host eprom editor i have options for extruder1, but i use only ext0. what am i doing wrong?

Which are different? Maybe not all get copied and if I know what to look for I can correct it.

Nothing. Extr 1 are the settings from EXT0_ . The eeprom output simply starts counting with 1 for the extruders while configure naming matches the T0 you have to use.

I assume i did something wrong, maybe is some parameter not changed...
also ext steps per mm dont match etc..

i noticed it when i started homing sequence, z axis waz to fast..

this is after M502

Strange. Verified it in the development version and there it works as expected.

problem partially solved! when i put in eprom mode 2 everything is fine! all values are correct. but i dont know why it doesnt work on eprom 1
