Hi,

I'm using the newest versions of Repetier Host and firmware with a RAMPS 1.4 board. The terminal to connect the heating cardridge wires of extruder 1 to the RAMPS are damaged, so I hooked all the wires of the Hotend and the stepper motor to the connections for the second extruder.

Is there an easy method to actually set the pins and terminals of the second extruder/hotend to be treated like it would be the first one?

Simply copy the pin names from extruder 2 to the first one. Thats all needed.

But watch out as the heated bed has index 1 in the numbering!
