1 parts won't fit in your print area!

Hello

I'm trying to print a part I made in OpenSCAD, but when I try to slice it, I alway get this message: "1 parts won't fit in your print area!" Although it is coloured pink, which should mean it fits. I even disabled skirt, so that's not the problem.

I'm using Repetier-Host V095F on Windows 8.1; a friend tried on OSX, and there it worked. Why is Repetier not working the same on every OS? And how can I solve my problem?

Slic3r has its own printer size definition and that may differ from the one the host has. Check what settings you did in slic3r as the error comes from that program it must be setting there.
