Backlash in 0.91 R7

Hi All,

I am trying to understand the backlash setting in Repetier. It asks for a number in mm's but I have no idea what it wants...

I have searched on here and on the famous search engine, lots about backlash in general but nothing on the setting in Repetier Firmware.

Any help would be appreciated!

Backlash is the distance in mm you need to move motor in opposite direction until the extruder moves again. That is why it is in mm. So simple example:

You move right then make a line down go right 10 mm and down and left 10mm and a new line down again. The difference between the two left lines down (which should be zero) is your backlash in x direction.
