He guys,

I finished building my 3d printer it is like a ultimake but a bit bigger.

But i have a problem, my z axis home is al the way down, so z min is home, but when it starts printing it stays down. But it have to come al the way up and when printing, slowly moves down, how do i set that up??

Thanks

zmin is where your extruder touches the bed. So if your zmin is the opposite, your z direction must be inverted.

Since down seems to be you z-max it should be the z-max endstop and then you would home to z-max and not z-min. I personally prefer the z endstop at z-max as many others do, since it makes calibrating z height easy. All you need to do is change the z length by the negative z position you see when you hit the bed.
