I've just migrated from Marlin to Repetier FW.
One thing I've noticed is that the reported temperature seems off by about 20C. In Marlin, I specified EPCOS 100K (Marlin type 1) in configuration.h and am using type 1 in my repetier FW for the thermistor type, as suggested by the configuration tool.
My thermistor is actually unknown, but it's whatever comes with the regular chinese J heads. The only advise from the vendor was "100k"
I printed PLA in Marlin at about 185-190 all day, but I have to tell Repetier to go to 205-210 to print the same stuff.
I have a thermocouple K type that reads much closer to Marlin's values (off by just a couple of degrees) to the reported temps.
Anyone else found a different thermistor type (or a different set of thermistor table entries I could define as custom) that is closer to the EPCOS 100K generic thermistor?
Oh, and the usual RAMPS config.
