Two different extruder -> two maxtemps ?

Let's say that one user has a bi-extruder machine, one extruder with PTFE insider and one extruder completely metal.
The first one must be limited to 255°C to avoid Teflon melting, while the other one can run almost red hot.

Is there a practical way to have two different maxtemp ?

Best Regards

No, there is only one limit. You can of course simply hack the M104/M109 command in commands.cpp and program your private limiting there. Would be a simple if condition so nothing wild.

Repetier-Server can have per extruder max temp settings, but that only limits input methods and does not prevent sending manually commands with higher temperatures. This must be limited in firmware.

Ok, will follow the "hack" route.

Thank you
