Blobbing

I printed a small castle a few days and the print came out fine. Last nite I printed again (same gcode file) and got alot of blobbing and some banding. I printed it again because I thought there might be moisture in the filament. I get the same exact blobbing in the same areas in both pieces. Gears seem good and I couldn't detect any binding in the carriage.

Those look like the spots it has stopped to retract before travelling across the void in the middle.

If it is Kisslicer code I would increase the wipe and turn off the loops go from inside to perimeter check box so it ends inside the object. If it is slic3r all you can try is playing with retraction.

Also be sure to follow the retraction calibration on the tutorials page of Tantillus.org

Other than those it could be a temperature thing or as you guessed it could be the filament.
