I've got an issue where if I extrude from Pronterface my stepper just hums, but works fine extruding from the LCD (Purge 5mm). Extrusion during printing is fine. Any idea why that'd be? This just started happening a few days ago. Both printer and PC have been rebooted several times since.

Strange, is the extrude speed in pronterface set some where around 300 - 600 mm/m. If it is set really low (5 - 10mm/m) it would look like it was just vibrating. Or maybe set too high (above 2000mm/m) it would not work as expected.

Yup, that was it. Speed was set too low. Should've caught that.
