I've always had intermittent problems with my extruder and I was thinking of replacing it. My kit came with a MK IV. Will the new MK V-B work?

If it was a kit from me it was a MK-Vb with a thermal barrier 5mm longer than normal. A shorter one will work fine but you may need longer bed bolts.
