The newest version Kisslicer 1.1.0 is officially released and available for Linux, Mac, FreeBSD, Raspberry Pi and Windows.
The Default Profiles have been updated for Kisslicer 1.1.0 along with some tweaks to the default extrusion widths.

Beta release of the Tantillus Calculator. It is a new way of calculating the settings for your machine. It is based on maintaining optimal flow rate for a given layer height and width by adjusting the speed. It also tries to maintain the same back pressure in the hotend by adjusting the temperature when slowing down the speed during size compensation.
A few special features it has are:
1) Adjust for the size of the object.
2) Ensure the extrusion size will allow one step of the extruder to produce a single dot the diameter of extrusion at the current layer height.
3) Target speed input to try and maintain the optimal speed for the hardware.
4) Three optimization types: Auto (maintain optimal flow by balancing the speed and temperature for the size of the object being printed), Size (maintain optimal flow rate and temperature for the size of the object being printed by adjusting the speed), Speed (maintain optimal flow rate while maintaining the target speed by adjusting the temperature. Overrides the object size selection).
5) Adjust for layer height rounding errors based on your Z steps per mm.
6) Four modes: Basic (Tantillus defaults), Intermediate (Few more options), Advanced (access to internal variables), Expert (access to material specific defaults and manual entry of all values).
I've been using and tweaking it for a few months and it is tuned well for Tantillus with 3mm PLA. It has been used by others with 1.75mm filament and different machines with success as well.
The new Kisslicer style profiles are created using the Calculator. The Machine profile speeds have been updated to have the speed slider at 50% give the average speed for the included style profiles.
Notes:
1) The temperatures given are only approximate due to differences in material and thermistors. For more accurate results use the custom Temperature fields or Expert mode.
2) Due to the way most of the current slicers save there settings you may need to set the speeds manually by setting the max and min to the value given by the calculator and save the machine profile to match the style profile.
3) It uses empirical data to extrapolate the settings instead of modelling the thermal properties of the hotend and materials allowing it to work with any and all machines and materials with the correct baseline data entered.
4) Every field has mouse over tool tips explaining their function.

No bridging yet. But he is working on another alpha release already that has multicolor capabilities. Lets hope he makes bridging part of the next release.

I've updated the calculator with better layer optimization. Based on your Z steps per mm it lists other possible layer heights (in millimetres) and the corresponding rounding error per layer (in nanometres).
