Nozzle size 0.35 or 0.5?

Hi Sublime, I am about to order a Jhead for my Tantillus. What would be the preferable or recommended nozzle size, 0.35 or 5? I read somewhere --could not recall anymore-- that for lower layer printing 0.5mm nozzle is better, is it true? Am all ears.

Also, do you have any spare hobbed bolt? I don't think I can make it one now….

Yes the 0.5 works better for low layers because of the minimum volume of plastic that can be extruded per step of the extruder. The large diameter means the same volume of plastic can be thinner.

I think I have a couple of bolts left. Just send me a PM and I will have a look between now and then.
