I was looking it this printer as my next 3d printer for very small acurate parts. I am currently downloading the github package and was reaserching building one of these from scratch. However the [www.tantillus.org] website seems down to me. Is this printer dead? or is just the website getting maintenance?

I would love to build one of these.

It seems to be up right now.

Another question for Sublime is whether we can or should capture the Calculator algorithms for offline use. I find them to be absolutely invaluable as I change printer parameters and I'm more than a little concerned that someday I won't have access to that information in the future.

I hate to see this printer go dark, as it's a great project for newbies with little cash and limited space.

I'll pay for the hosting fee if we can get the site back up.

I am planning on building a spin off of this printer to sit on my desk. My delta printer is huge and needs its own table. This sized printer would be great for small parts.

You'll find that this printer builds *very* precise parts when tuned properly. Sublime put a lot of work into a calibration process which, when carefully followed, produces the best results of all my printers. That's one of the huge values of the original site - the calibration procedures and detailed tuning methodology.

I have the source code for the printer files. With that said, I may just build and ultimaker style small printer with a build volume between 150mm cubed and 200mm cubed.

What should be done / what would be appropriate to do to continue to keep this printer model viable?

Anyone have contact information for the designer?

This kinda sucks.

I just finished printed all the parts on my Mendel90 only to find the website expired and no build manual. Does anyone have a copy?
