It took me a while to decide on what this competition should be and settled on the articulated Trilobite by AuntDasiy [www.thingiverse.com] Its a great model and everyone loves to play with it. It feels almost alive.
The judging will be based on Quality of the surface finish and size (smaller the better)
I found the model has plenty of clearance to print at much smaller sizes and still snap together. I have printed it at 50% size and it works well and was easy to assemble (and take apart).

I just realised I only printed half the body...no wonder I had some issues getting the head to sit right......(stupid me..rtfi..
)
Have added some photos as well.
Body/tail 0.2mm and head 0.1mm
ABS but NO heated bed
ABS "slurry" on the table
Scaled to 50%

Deadline is over and it is time to pick a winner.
PomeroyB has a well tuned flow but looks to need a little more tuning on the retraction.
IceMan has clean walls and I like the fact it is only half the size it should be with only half the sections.
So the winner is IceMan for his tiny ABS trilobite.
