Nema 14 for Mondrian?

Hi There,

I'm currently in the process of getting all the parts to build a Mondrian M333 and wanted to know which Nema 14 Motors are recommended?

Annoyingly I have my left over Nema 17 from my damaged Prusa to use, although I believe the Mondrian changed to Nema 14's when the motor mounts changed from the corners to the X axis structure. From the Github skectup file I can still see the Nema 17 end mounts and was also curious to why it changed.

There are a few on Aliexpress that I am looking into, [www.aliexpress.com], but I am unsure if they have the required torque to functional satisfactory.

Hi Conoral11 smiling smiley

I was using 14N.cm motors previously (from Zappautomation or Ldo-motors).
The motors you pointed at are ok, you can have them also directly from their website "robotdigg", just add in the comment that you want 1.25A (300rpm) for the movements, the 0.8A (100rpm) is better suited for an extruder.
