Hi,

Have you watched those YouTube time-lapse assembly videos for RepRaps and chuckled when you see someone perform one step and then some time later have to undo it? You wouldn't make that mistake would you?

I thought not and went ahead and fitted the optional cooling fan, as described in the Build Manual at Step 3, then it happened! When I came to fit the left Z motor mount what did I have to do? You guessed it, off comes the fan so I can pass the motor mount screws through the back of the gantry.

I guess this goes to prove that you really can't read the build instructions enough and still not make mistakes grinning smiley

But if you never looked at the manual, would you have done it right the first time? spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I think everyone been there at some point!
you just sigh(maybe curse) and carry on with excitement!

The manual is wrong because it is fine to fit the fan guard at that point but if you are actually fitting a fan it needs to be after the Z axis so I will simply move that section.
