Bed leveling

Hi,

yesterday I did a little maintenance. Among others I checked the bed leveling with my dial gauge. Unfortunately the firmware did not cooperate with me. To mount the dial gauge I dismounted the extruder, unplugged it and tried to move the axis - but nothing than error messages appeared.

Is there any command to tell the firmware to ignore the temperature?

I don't think so. I leave it plugged in.

How about obtaining a 15-way D type connector and soldering a 110k resistor to the thermistor pins. This can then replace the extruder assembly and fool the firmware.winking smiley

But isn't is easier just to remove the extruder, place it down to the left of the M90 and then plug it back into the existing D connector?
