Is There a Ground for Limit Switches?

I suppose there is no ground for the limit switches but page 64 of the manual shows Ribbon 1 (red) as signal and Ribbon 2 as ground. This makes me wonder if there is some way to check for ground on the other switches? I don't think so but I don't know for sure so am asking just in case ... paranoia induced by ignorance. Slowly being cured by these forum members.

Thanks a lot.

There is no polarity requirement associated with the limit switches.
