Extruder Temperature isn´t working properly

Hi,

I just wanted to start another print and just before reaching the target temperature it suddenly drops again... and rises and drops... After that I powered everything down and restarted. Now there is no reaction at all when I try to raise the hotend temperature.

I own an original nophead Mendel90 and the Extruder is still the same. What can I do to find the cause for this issue?

I am using Octoprint to control and monitor the printer.

I experienced exactly the same problem with my Mendel90. As I understand it, the problem was that the thermistor cement had crumbled and/or been permeated by wayward plastic, causing the sensor to short out. I fixed it a couple weeks ago and was just about to post a summary of the fix. Stay tuned.

Hi, the problem has been solved, a loose wire caused it. Now everything is back to normal!
