PSU Questions (Wire colors, count, thickness, etc.)

I have a power supply here: PSU
Did not buy it for the project but thought that I might be able use it. But the wire count is different than the manual expects. I don't want to start chopping wires sad smiley till I'm sure what I am doing smiling smiley.

It has 5 red wires. The manual expects 7.

It has 5 orange wires. The manual expects 4.
One orange wire is smaller than the others.

Do not have a brown sense wire. Could it be the smaller orange one?

One black wire is smaller than the others.

Rest of the wire colors match the manual.

The wires might be thicker than in the manual picture. Might not be able to fit them all to the Melzi.

Should I work with this PSU or try to find one with different wire count and thinner wire?

Thanks for any advice.

I would go with that one as if it has thicker wires it is probably better quality.

The thin orange is probably the sense wire. Does it go to the same pin as a thicker orange?

Just fit as many as you can in the Melzi and insulate the rest. It is the total copper area that is important so less thicker wires is just as good as more thinner ones.
