Hi folks,

Back at it after infant induced hiatus. Now trying the local glaziers for the heatbed glass. Getting a few responses in the mild astonishment range when asking about such small pieces of safety glass. Seems it's not economically worth anyone's while. Now watching ebay and council cleanup days to source something. Has anyone else had this experience? What other sources should I consider?

You don't need safety glass - any old glass will do. I'm sure you'll find it much easier to get the glaziers to cut a scrap of window glass to size.

Sörli mirrors from IKEA are 20x20 with rounded corners and therefore perfectly suited. And wait, they are cheap too=)
