Request RepRap Community Japan Group

Hello all RepRap members!

We are RepRap community in Japan, and all members are from all prefectures in Japan.

It's actually been a while since we started running active RepRap community in Japan over two years, and we apologies to forget requesting User Group in here.

We are very active community, communicating and sharing everyday on our forum.

RepRap Community Japan was also introduced in Japanese National TV program and did a presentation about introcudtion of RepRap at Maker Faire Tokyo 2012.
(first attendance was Make Meeting 2011)

Current active members are about an hundred. RepRap users are more than three hundreds.


Japanese version of RepRap 3D printer, called "atom 3D Printer" which is mixed of Prusa i3 and Huxley was announced at Maker Faire Tokyo 2012.

Finally we presented Japanese version (parts can be collected from Japanese supplier) of Rostock Mini and Kossel Mini at Maker Faire Tokyo 2013.

Thank you for reply.

I know some people in Japan Tokyo RepRap User Group but I don't know how many people are using as local area thread these days.

Is it possible to create a new sub-forum first then we will see if we should gather or not later?

Just updated the Summary Page since we did a presentation in Fukui Prefecture, Japan

Please take a look around pages and github. (some parts are not translated to English yet but soon...).

We will post news and updates on new sub-forum if it's created.

Hi Victor,

Since we are active widely in Japan, not specific town in Tokyo. So, please consider to create a new sub-forum named as "RepRap Community Japan" as we have been using this name repeatedly for over two years. Now hundreds of domestic people are getting together with us.
