Several times I have read a PM addressed to me when away from home and not been able to do anything about it. Then, when I get home several days later, I have forgotten about that PM and the action it requires. Is there any chance that we can have the ability to mark PMs unread, in the same way as email clients allow received messages to be marked unread?

Why don't you just create a folder "ActionNeeded" and move the message to the folder?
