Hi Sebastien,

... i actually found an inconsistent tagging-status of the group-forums.

From the main-site they didn't show the "new"-flag.

When i go into a forum, it shows me all the new posts ...

When on the main-site again, then the "new"-tag with the correct count is there!

Hmmm.

Maybe this will go away once we become desparate to upgrade the forum software. I've been happy with using Sage, the RSS reader extension for firefox, which means I don't look at the new flag much. If it is a problem, let me know, and I'll pester Simon a tiny bit about the forum software.

It worked OK until the new forums were added recently. It now seems like you need to visit a forum once to get the new count to appear at the top level.

... yes, i figured this out with the local groups - when visited, then the counter runs correct ...

...even if you visit a forum for the first time as a visitor. Actually, I thought this was a feature to help you track the forums you followed, without cluttering it up with notes on the ones you didn't.
