slight shear in y seems dependent on layup thickness

Having solved my SD card problems, I could see my latest print shapping up nicely. However when It was done I noticed a slight problem in the Y direction.: ( the wall is meant to be straight)



If you look at the part from the pther angle you can see the problem starts where the wall gets thin:



I'm wondering if it would improve if I decrease the Yacceleration?

Try increasing the current to 1000mA in the startup config file - worked for me.

I had exactly this until i tightened my Y axis Belt, some solutions here [forums.reprap.org]

Excellent! Thankyou! Your device for fixing the y-axis carriage helped me to solve this. I used it as the basis of my solution

The wonky one on the left and the first print with the new belt fastening
