Ho,

Finally started working on something useful. Its just a prototype for my next FPV antenna tracker, but I'm happy that the Ormerod is accurate enough to do a good job.
Sorry about the video quality... doen on my phone...

Hi kwikius ,

Nice ! Seems most of RepRapers share common interest. FPV, Quadcopter and Rc planes, Arduino electronics,.............

Thanks tru168 and iamburny ... . 3D printer is a dream come true for modelling.. No more hunting on the internet for stuff that sort of works ! I've been making models since the 70's. How to make engineering stuff out of bits of ally and ply and tube has always been the problem.. but no more! smiling smiley Problem is now the long list of stuff to design and make with my new found freedom!

regards
Andy

Yes, I'd not thought about quadcopters before browsing the thingyverse after getting my Ormarod, but now I definitely want one with FPV! My memories of R/C flying consists of an hour trying to get the glowplug engine to run properly followed by a 2 minute flight, a crash, and back home to make repairs ...

RC Boats, Hellies (but I haven't flown in ages), and recently gone back to trains.... Now in to ON30.....
I'll be glad when I can master printing a decent print of my own stuff... Not long now I hope... Still learning.
