Wiring/commisioning Ormerod

Guys,

I have finished building the printer and now I am in the commisiong phase. I have installed Pronterface and the latest firmware.
- Motors can be controlled using Pronterface. So I guess communication/power is working fine
- Both Temperatures are at -273 (not connected properly?)
- Hot end Fan not working when connected to the Duet as indicated. If I move the connector for the Hot end Fan to the next row of pins it works (but I can not switch it on/off on Pronterface). So the intended Pins for the Hot end fan simply don't have power/voltage.

Any suggestions?

Temperatures at -273C normally means thermistors are not connected. Check the crimp connections on the bed thermistor - they are very hard to get right, so I ended up soldering them. Also check that the crimp pins are inserted fully into the connector shell, both for the 2-pin bed thermistor connector and the 6-pin hot end connector. The fan is designed to run continuously, you can't control it from Pronterface. If it doesn't work when you connect it to the pins shown at [www.reprappro.com], then you might want to check that those header pins have been soldered on the reverse of the board. While you are at it, also check that all 4 USB socket mounting lugs have been soldered.
