Hot end Issues

Hello

I have just started having issues with my hot end thermistor not giving a reading (-274) after a week of printing. Can some one please tell me the expected values from it at room temperature.

This should hopefully help me diagnose if it is a wiring or thermisor fault (and pray that its not the duet thats dead).

Thanks

The thermistor should be 100K @ 25C. I had this kind of problem too, it turned out to be a problem with the 6-pin connector.

Or maybe one of the crimps have come off the thermistor.

I have done a visual check of the wires and checked the connector block so now it is on to checking continuity.

Well after i have taken a break for a while.

mine did just that (after 1 week off printing), at first I checked the connections then checked the thermistor and took the wiring apart, but could not find any problems. put it back together and then I worked again.
either TMDRS336 is right or it was pure luck on my side, properly both.
been printing ever since....
