M92 Command

I'm currently upgrading to Dual extruders here, and the alterations to the config.g turned out to be very straight forward. Thanks to our workaholic Firmware guys.... Thanks guys)

But I was just wondering for the future 'if' there would be any mileage in adding a drive number parameter to the M92 command.

My thinking is, you could then have one of the extruders say running 1.75mm filament, and another running 3mm filament. Or you could have one extruder running with a direct drive just above the extruder with say Ninga-Flex.

The M92 command currently looks like:-

M92 E428; Set extruder steps/mm

Is there any mileage in changing it to:-

M92 D0 E428; Original Extruder arrangement
M92 D1 E224; Ungeared drive delivering Ninga-Flex (Just picked the E number out of the air BTW as an example)

Was just thinking it would open up all sorts of interesting design possibilities if we could DoveTail in rubber mounts (Niga-Flex etc), as I wouldn't have thought Ninga-Flex would bond to PLA or ABS (I don't know, as I haven't tried)....
It would be another first for the Ormerod.....
Kim..

You can already use M92 E428:224.
