Z-Probe problem

Hello,

I have a problem with my Z-Probe when I try to calibrate my Z-Endstop.

Like described in "Calibration" I did the following:

I put a piece of paper under the capton tape at x:40 y:0 and homed x and y-axis.
I moved down the nozzle until it was very close over the capton tape.
Then I made an input "M558 P2" to set z= 0 at this point.
After moving up the nozzle to Z6.1 the probe-value was 800 so, I set "G31 Z6.1 P800"

Now whenever I try to home Z, the nozzle moves up 5mm (that's a command in "homez.g") and afterwards it moves down 6.1 mm. So in the end the nozzle has only dropped 1.1 mm, no matter where it was before.
In my web control it says Z=0 now.

Why does the nozzle not try to go down to the real Z=0? Has anyone an idea?

Thank you,
George

The command you need to set Z=0 at that point is G92 Z0.

Oh, sorry, of course I used G92 Z0. I was writing too fast :-)
