Extending the head bed thermistor wire

Im doing some upgrades and repairs on my Ormerod1, and would really like for the hot bed thermistor wires to be a bit longer, so that the housing is a bit closer to the end of the bed.

I have a spare led cable with housing, can I use it on the thermistor/ribbon?

Yes, any 2-core wire will do.
