sometimes there is a "slipping/bucking" of the extruder drive during printing (its my first print: ormaxis.g; standard settings). is that usual or is something wrong with the extruder drive?

I get this too.

Hi

you both should check whether the filament is blocked by some debris and if the connections are all ok particularly at the hot end. If the filament gets stuck there (or at any place before), the extruder drive stutters.

make sure nut is tight enough, you need to squeeze the extruder drive between both bearings otherwise the gear won't drive it...

I don't think there is any blockage. Printing generally works OK, I just think it's trying to extrude the filament faster than it wants to melt. I'll try a lower feed setting or a higher temperature.
